to Guidelines
for Employers to Reduce Motor Vehicle Crashes developed
by NETS for OSHA. The guidelines briefly present
the NETS Steps employers can use to improve roadway
safety performance and minimize their risk of motor
vehicle crashes. The Employer Best Practices for Roadway
Safety Workshop features employers who have implemented
these driver safety initiatives. |
|
A
one-day workshop to address the most frequently
asked
questions
by employers about the components of a cost-effective
roadway safety program for all employees. The
workshop
presentations are based on the NETS 10-Step System
to Improve Safety, Minimize Crash Risk and Reduce
Employer Liability.
An
employer can enhance their existing program or begin
to assemble their own model program utilizing the
Steps that are the primary components necessary to
build the foundation for a successful roadway safety
program. These are useful for any organization regardless
of size of the organization, type of traffic encountered,
number of vehicles involved, or whether employees
drive company or personal vehicles for work or simply
commute to and from their place of employment.
