Do
You Know Your Risk?
This
seminar provides an overview of the potential liabilities
employers face when entrusting business-related driving
privileges to employees. Specifically, there are seven
legal theories under which employers may be liable
for the negligent driving of their employees. The
number of lawsuits and the damages awarded to plaintiffs
making negligence claims against organizations and
their drivers continue to increase and are at an all
time high. For these reasons, to protect the organization
and its reputation, it is imperative for employers
to understand their legal obligations when entrusting
others to drive for business purposes. And, perhaps
more importantly, it is crucial for employers to understand
how to protect themselves and their company against
these types of legal claims.
