Traffic Crashes Place 6th on List of Causes of Debilitating Workplace Injuries
Liberty Mutual Research Institute for Safety’s “2007 Workplace Safety Index” names the leading causes of the most disabling U.S. workplace injuries. Topping the list, which is based on 2005 data, is overexertion, which led to $12.7 billion in costs. Highway incidents are sixth on the list, costing $2.3 billion.
